Please Deaf and Hearing to sign the British Sign Language Recogntion Bill Petition

Can I remind you to support the petition to create a new BSL Bill to detail how Deaf people will achieve their human and language rights.

You can sign the petition at:
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/BSL-human-rights/

There are:
2604 members of DeafUK.
50,000 to 70,000 Deaf people who use BSL
130,000 hearing people who use BSL personally or professionally
9 million deaf people in this country who may care about Deaf people who use BSL
1:4 disabled people share the same desire for human rights

And, did you know that:
101 countries have signed the UN Convention of Human Rights for People with Disabilities

And still there are only:
274 signatures on the petition so far.

The worst thing you could do is do nothing!

Thank you very much, Yvonne,

but we need more people - both Hearing and Deaf to support the Bill.

At the moment only 335 signtures.

Is anyone have a reason not to sign this Bill? If so, leave comments here to help us understand why.
